Tahap Persiapan Tebar Benur
Tahapan kegiatan persiapan tebar benur dilakukan setelah tahap pengelolaan lahan pasca panen relatif memadai untuk proses tebar benur. Secara garis besar tahapan ini mencakup 3 (tiga) sub tahapan yaitu:
1. Penyiapan lahan dan sarananya. Sub tahapan ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan suatu media yang nyaman bagi benur yang sebelumnya hidup dalam lingkungan yang berbeda. Sedangkan sarana diperlukan untuk membantu proses awal siklus budidaya udang sehingga tidak terjadi suatu kendala bagi akivitas budidaya yang secara tidak langsung juga berpengaruh pada keberhasilan budidaya.
Kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam sub tahapan ini antara lain : (i) Tes konstruksi tambak, (ii) Filterisasi saluran pemasukan air dan saluran pembuangan, dan (iii) Pemasangan kincir air.
Tes konstruksi tambak bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kebocoran dan laju penyusutan air di dalam tambak serta kelancaran saluran pembuangan. Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk kegiatan ini adalah melalui pengisian air ke dalam tambak pada ketinggian maksimal pada periode waktu tertentu. Faktor ini perlu dipertimbangkan agar secara desain dan konstruksinya suatu petakan tambak tidak menimbulkan suatu kendala dalam melakukan proses budidaya.
Filterisasi di saluran pemasukan air bertujuan mencegah masuknya predator dan kompetitor udang ke dalam tambak, sedangkan filterisasi di sentral pembuangan air bertujuan mencegah keluarnya udang yang masih berukuran kecil. Metode yang dapat digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah melalui pemasangan streameen pada paralon pemasukan air dan sentral pembuangan.
Kegiatan selanjutnya pada sub tahapan ini adalah pemasangan kincir air. Hal yang perlu diperhatikan adala posisi kincir sebaiknya dapat menimbulkan arus air yang bisa mengarahkan kotoran di dasar tambak ke sentral pembuangan.
2. Penyiapan air tambak. Sub tahapan ini meliputi kegiatan antara lain : (i) Pengisian air dengan ketinggian 25 - 30 cm, (ii) Penginciran air tambak, (iii) Penambahan volume air tambak, (iv) Penumbuhan pakan alami, dan (v) Pengelolaan kecerahan air.
Pada saat ketingggian air tambak sekitar 25 - 30 cm perlakuan teknis yang biasa dilakukan adalah pemberian saponin dengan dosis tertentu yang bertujuan untuk (a) mematikan predator dan kompetitor udang yang masuk ke dalam tambak, (b) membantu proses pembentukan air tambak (sebagai salah satu pupuk organik).
Setelah perlakuan saponin dilakukan maka selanjutnya dilakukan proses penginciran air tambak yang bertujuan untuk membantu proses penyebaran saponin secara merata ke dalam tambak sekaligus unuk membantu proses pembentukan air. Kegiatan penambahan air dilakukan setelah busa/buih yang ditimbulkan oleh saponin telah hilang.
Pakan alami bagi benur biasanya berupa zooplankton (diatomae) yang dapat diamati secara visual setelah sub tahapan ini berlangsung sekitar 5 – 7 hari.
Kegiatan selanjutnya pada sub tahapan ini adalah pengelolaan kecerahan air yang dapat dilakukan dengan cara pemupukan dengan urea & TSP berdasarkan dosis yang diperlukan. Kecerahan air untuk tebar benur sebaiknya tembus dasar atau tidak terlalu pekat.
3. Persiapan tebar benur. Sub tahapan ini pada dasarnya merupakan kegiatan yang paling akhir dari proses penyiapan lahan tebar benur setelah semua tahapan dianggap cukup optimal bagi proses pemindahan benur dari dua lingkungan yang berbeda.
Penyiapan lahan tebar benur harus memperhatikan faktor musim dan epidemi penyakit pada saat itu.

Speaking specifically about conditions such as ADHD or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, there have been studies that were concluded that after three months of giving children diagnosed with ADHD fish oil supplements, their behavior showed marked improvement and much better focus then prior to taking the supplements. They showed improvements not just in general behavior, but in subjects such as reading and spelling as well. While these effects are amazing indeed, one of the most staggering effects that fish oil has on the brain may be linked to those with depression.
Other studies have indicated that ingesting fish oil capsules can have a similar effect to Prozac for those that have been suffering with the illness of depression. This is an amazing finding and if true, could help treat tens of thousands of individuals who suffer from this horrible illness on a regular basis. This finding has been substantiated by citing countries that include fish as a major part of their diet having fewer incidences of depression as well. Imagine treating individuals with a fish oil supplement versus a strong narcotic like Prozac? While it may turn the medical industry on its head, fish oil supplements may just be the natural cure that many of us have been searching for in our lives.
